What is the difference between a multi-space and a shared record?

Multi-spaces and shared records both allow multiple people to collaborate in Psylio. However, they are designed for different purposes.

Using a shared record

A shared record is typically used for professional follow-up or as part of a service record.

Professionals who have access to the record can view and document information related to a client’s or student’s follow-up, based on the permissions granted to them.

A shared record remains the primary place to:

  • Conduct professional follow-up
  • Support team-based follow-up within the same profession
  • Write notes and document interventions
  • Review the record’s history
  • Manage information related to the service

Using a multi-space

A multi-space is a multidisciplinary collaboration and coordination space that brings together different teams and professionals around a shared need.

Unlike a shared record, a multi-space is not intended for professional follow-up documentation. Instead, it is designed to facilitate communication, information sharing, and coordination among the people involved.

A multi-space can be used to:

  • Collaborate with multiple teams and professionals without granting access to a professional record
  • Share relevant information with the people involved
  • Coordinate actions and follow-up activities
  • Centralize discussions and collaboration in a shared space
