How do I assign schools to members of my organization?

As an administrator or manager in Psylio for a school service centre, you can assign schools directly to members of your organization from the Members tab in Settings.

Why assign schools?

Assigning schools helps you:

  1. Give members access to student search in the correct schools when creating profiles and records.
  2. Allow professionals to use the School filter in their list of records.
  3. Make sure student profiles are always linked to the right school.
  4. Provide administrators with a clear overview of practitioners and the schools they work in.

How to assign a school to a member 

  1. Go to the Members tab in your organization’s Settings.
  2. Select the member you want to assign one or more schools to.
  3. In the Locations column, open the dropdown menu and select the schools.
  4. Repeat these steps for each member of your organization.

Idea
You can update a member’s assigned schools at any time (for example, when a professional changes schools or needs access to additional schools).

Manager Permissions

Managers can also assign schools, but only the schools they already have access to.

  1. Example: If a school principal has the manager role, they can assign their school to members who use Psylio.
  2. Only administrators can assign all schools within the organization.
