If searching for a student returns no results, several factors may be causing the issue. Complete the following checks.
Steps to follow
1. Verify how you signed in
Make sure you sign in to Psylio using one of the following methods:
- From the Psylio tile in Mozaïk-Portail
- By selecting Sign in through Mozaïk-Portail on the Psylio sign-in page
Using another sign-in method may prevent access to the student search feature.
2. Verify your school access
You can only search for students in schools to which you have been officially assigned.
If your search returns no results:
- Contact your School Service Centre's IT team to verify your access permissions.
- Confirm that your assignments are correctly configured in:
- The Mozaïk-Portail administration console
- Your organization's payroll system
3. Verify the schools assigned to your account
Ask your organization's administrator to confirm that the schools assigned to your Psylio account match your current work locations.
Expected result
Once your access has been confirmed, you should be able to search for a student using:
- Their first name
- Their last name
- Their student ID number
Matching students will appear in a drop-down list along with their photo. When you select a student, a profile is created and the following information is imported:
- Student's first and last name
- Student record number
- School name
- Parent or guardian names
- Parent or guardian email addresses
- Parent or guardian phone numbers
If the Problem Persists
Temporary service slowdowns may occasionally prevent search results from appearing, even when the student is enrolled in the selected school. If this happens, try your search again later.
If the issue persists after completing all the checks above, submit a ticket to GRICS so the issue can be investigated further.
