What’s the difference between a profile and a record?

Psylio allows you to view client records and your list of profiles separately. This distinction makes it easier to manage follow-ups and keep track of information for those who are currently being supported or waiting for services.

What is a client or student profile?

A profile contains a person’s general and long-term information.

It may include:
  1. Name
  2. Gender identity and pronouns
  3. Date of birth
  4. Job or occupation
  5. Contact details (address, phone number, email)
  6. School
  7. Contacts (guardians, parents, or any other related person)

Idea
You can create a profile before opening a record. This helps streamline the onboarding of a new client and allows you to store information for someone who is waiting for services.

What is a record?

A record brings together all information related to a specific follow-up or service, along with the profiles of the clients or students involved.

A record may include:
  1. Record details (title, number, opening date, reason for request, etc.)
  2. Progress notes
  3. Documents
  4. Past and upcoming appointments
  5. Invoices and billing information
  6. Tasks
  7. Associated profiles
In the record list, the Associated profiles column shows the people linked to the follow-up. This makes it easy to quickly see whether the record involves an individual, a couple, or a group, and to access each profile’s information.
