To mark a note as confidential, you have two options:
While drafting a note: At the bottom of the writing space, check the Confidential box.
After the note has been recorded: On the progress notes page, click on the three small dots in the top right corner of a note to Mark as confidential.

In solo practice: Confidential notes can include information from a third party, uninterpreted data, or information related to a report, such as to the Director of Youth Protection.
In a school organization: Confidential notes can include notes related to an institutional and confidential mandate for a student.
Only the record owner can mark notes in the record as confidential. You can share a record containing confidential notes, but these will not be visible to your colleagues. Additionally, during a record transfer, the confidential notes will not be visible to the new record owner.
