What happens if I temporarily cease my practice?

If you plan to take a break from your practice (e.g., for maternity leave or an extended absence), you can switch to the free plan to avoid subscription fees during this time. All your active and archived records will be retained without a time limit. Ensure all your notes and updates are finalized before making this switch. When you’re ready to resume your practice, you can easily return to the Essential plan without losing any records or data.

What you can do during the break:

  • View your records and all related information.
  • Edit profile details within a record (e.g., a client’s email address).
  • Mark invoices as paid or cancelled and send receipts or invoices.
  • Access information in the Finances section.
  • Print notes, documents, profiles, invoices, and reports as you would with the Essential plan.

What you cannot do during the break:

  • Add new records, notes, or documents, or edit existing notes.
  • Create new invoices (make sure to prepare them before switching to the free plan).
  • Record new transactions unrelated to a client record (e.g., income, expenses).

Info
If your public profile on Jade is active, be sure to deactivate it to prevent clients or potential clients from booking appointments during your break.
