How do I import multiple client profiles into Psylio?

You can import information for multiple clients from a CSV file to create their profiles in Psylio all at once.

This can be useful if you’re new to Psylio, switching from another platform, or simply need to add multiple clients at once.

Access the profile import tool

  1. Go to Profiles.
  2. Click Add a profile.
  3. Select Add multiple.


The profile import tool will open.

Prepare your CSV file

  1. Download the CSV template from the import tool.
  2. Add the information for the clients you want to import.
  3. Save the file in CSV format.
  4. Return to Psylio and upload your file.

You can also use an existing CSV file. In the next step, you’ll be able to match the columns in your file to the corresponding fields in Psylio.

Switching from another platform?
If your previous platform allows you to export your client information as a CSV file, you can use that file to import the information into Psylio.

Match the columns to Psylio fields

This step determines where the information from each column in your CSV file will appear in the new profiles.
  1. For each column you want to import, select the corresponding Psylio field. For example, match the column containing your clients’ first names to the First name field.
  2. Make sure each column is matched to the correct field.
  3. Continue to the data preview.

Review your information

  1. Review the preview to make sure your information is recognized correctly.
  2. If any errors are detected, review the details provided and make the necessary corrections.
  3. If needed, download the file containing the rows with errors and correct them.


Start the import

  1. Once you’ve reviewed your information, start the import.
  2. Follow the progress until the import is complete.
Psylio will automatically create a profile for each client included in the import.

Does the import also create client records?

No. The CSV import only creates client profiles. Client records must be created separately and linked to the corresponding profiles.
