How do I create a new note from an existing note?
If your follow-up notes often share a similar structure or content from one session to the next, you can create a new note from an existing note or directly from your latest note.
The new note is automatically created as a draft and preserves the original note's content and formatting. Simply update it as needed for your current session.
Create a new note from your latest note
- Open the desired record.
- Click Add note.
- Select Create from the latest note.
- A new draft note is created automatically.
- Edit it as needed, then save it.
Create a copy of an existing note
- Open the desired record.
- Locate the note you want to reuse.
- Open the note's action menu (three dots).
- Select Create copy.
- A new draft note is created automatically.
