How do I create a new note from an existing note?

If your follow-up notes often share a similar structure or content from one session to the next, you can create a new note from an existing note or directly from your latest note.

The new note is automatically created as a draft and preserves the original note's content and formatting. Simply update it as needed for your current session.

Create a new note from your latest note

  1. Open the desired record.
  2. Click Add note.
  3. Select Create from the latest note.
  4. A new draft note is created automatically.
  5. Edit it as needed, then save it.

Create a copy of an existing note

  1. Open the desired record.
  2. Locate the note you want to reuse.
  3. Open the note's action menu (three dots).
  4. Select Create copy.
  5. A new draft note is created automatically.
  6. Edit it as needed, then save it.
