How do I manage a waiting list?

Psylio lets you manage a waiting list using tags, making it easy to identify, organize, and track people who are waiting for services directly from the profiles list.

Step 1: Create profiles for people on the waiting list 

When someone is waiting for services, you can create a client profile to store:

1. Their contact and identifying information
2. Any other relevant details

To learn how to create a profile, see: How do I create a client or student profile?

You don’t need to create a client record right away.

Step 2: Create a “Waitlist” tag

To make tracking easier, create a dedicated tag:

1. Go to Settings > Tags.
2. Create a new Waitlist tag.

Step 3: Apply the tag to the relevant profiles

1. From the profiles list, select the people who are on your waitlist.
2. Click the action menu.
3. Choose Add tags.
4. Select the Waitlist tag to apply it.

Step 4: View and manage your waiting list

From the profiles list:

1. Apply the Waitlist filter to see everyone on your list
2. Use the action menu to contact people as needed

When you begin working with a client

When someone moves from the waiting list to active services:

1. Create the client record.
2. Add the existing profile to the record.
3. Set the opening date.
4. Remove the Waitlist tag from the profile.
