Can I use Psylio if I am a trainee or a doctoral student?
As a trainee or doctoral student, you can absolutely use Psylio. You can take advantage of the sharing, transfer, and approval functions, depending on the type of account you have.
How does approval work?
If you use Psylio within a group organization:
- Your supervisor will be able to access all of your records in reading, writing, and approval, depending on the access you grant them (see image below).
- When a record is shared for approval with your supervisor and a new note is added, they will receive an email informing them that a note needs to be approved. Once approved, your signature and that of your supervisor will be automatically applied to the footer of the note (these signatures are only visible when you print or save the note in PDF format).
- Regarding billing, please note that our platform currently allows only one signature to be added to invoices. However, by sharing the record with your supervisor, they can view the invoices you add or add their own (with their signature). You can also add your supervisor's name and license number in the "notes" section of the invoices you create (see image below).
If you use Psylio as an individual user:
- To share your notes and invoices with your supervisor, you will need to save them in PDF format or print them.
- You can indicate "doctoral student" or "trainee" in your footer so that it appears on your notes and in your billing.
- If you want your supervisor's signature to be automatically applied to all your notes and invoices, you can configure a double signature by adding an image of both in the signature section.
